Why is Mexico a bad place to host?

Mexico has long been a very violent country. Especially since the War on Drugs that president Calderón began back in 2006. Insecurity increased exponentially until making it one of the most dangerous countries for which there's data available.
Recent incidents like the violence spike following the killing of "El Mencho" or the recent shootings near the Teotihuacan pyramids have increased foreigners' fears of traveling to the country.
Besides the well-known insecurity, Mexico has a socialist president, Claudia Sheinbaum. She's a member of MORENA, a party that belongs to the Sao Paolo forum. She's also been going increasingly tyrannical, following other countries tendency.
Examples include forcing every citizen to register their telephone lines. Therefore risking the leak of government data. Besides, she's also known to be, at the very least, a colaborationist of drug dealers.
Another detail is Mexico's national team itself. It wasn't really created to be competitive, never has been. It was created to be a source of income for Televisa, Mexico's biggest mass media company.

Why is America a bad place to host?

Because it's making attending the tournament prohibitely expensive. Their president has also been severely threatning European nations (one of the main forces in every WC), by e.g., threatning to dismantle NATO, causing them to want to stay away from America.
Another reason is that an event like the World Cup should preferably be hosted by nations that are really passionate by football. Hosting this World Cup in America means FIFA is wanting to Americanize the sport. They'll to do this by adding mid time shows, like they
confirmed to do so in the final. As if this was the NFL. Or by adding a "hydration break" to add lots of ads. The Americanization of the sport was seen when the draw was made on December. They took so long to actually start it. They only began after a long show and lots of
events and stuff nobody really cares about, including Infantino awarding Trump a controversial peace price (I'm relatively neutral towards Trump).
We should then expect almost empty stadiums, because many fans will either not be granted a visa to attend, or will voluntarily not want to attend the event.

Why is Canada a bad place to host?

I will be more brief here. The reason is, put simply, Canada is not a footballing nation. Canada has historically been known for hockey.
They have never had a truly relevant or competitive football team in their entire history. Only very recently the returned to the big stage, in 2022 after 36 years of absence. They lost every single match
they have ever played in a WC. The country will barely even host, as only 2 cities will be host nations. The country did not even had its own league until relatively recently.

Additional more personal reason: my team

I am a decades old hardcore Italian fan. As everybody now knows, Italy will not play once again after losing the playoff final to
Bosnia and Herzegovina on penalties, on March 31, 2026. As such, my interest in the tournament simply diminishes significantly. I would have no team to really support.
And yes, this means the last time I was truly excited for a WC was in 2014, when Italy last qualified. The next time I will be truly excited will be the next time Italy qualifies.
These are my own, personal reasons why I won't be watching the tournament, or at most only watch the final, or the highlights of some teams. Certainly will not care about whatever round of 32,
round of 16, quarterfinals or whatever. I will spend that time I would have spent in front of a TV in other endeavors, both personal and professional.
